It was silent. Ramon waited for the Cevillano but there was no answer from him. Ramon around. There was nothing. Then a man was floated on the water. He was Cevillano. Ramon Salazar was shocked. He began to cry, and felt afraid of the Manta Diablo. Suddenly, the ship was swinging up and down. There was something under the ship. It was the Manta Diablo! Ramon realized that there was no one around him. And he decided to resist against the Manta Diablo. He threw a harpoon to the Manta. But Manta moved faster after the Ramon threw a harpoon to it. So the ship began to go up and down more faster. Ramon could not stand on the ship. Then he grabbed the anchor to stand on the ship. He threw second harpoon to the Manta. It hit the Manta's body. Ramon saw it and he threw another harpoon to the Manta Diablo. But, poor Ramon's harpoon didn't hit the Manta. Manta Diablo began to move madly. The Ramon was very afraid of it and thought about why Manta Diablo came to him. Then he knew that the Manta Diablo was appeared to him because he got the 'Pearl of Heaven' from the cave. Ramon Salazar threw the 'Pearl of Heaven' in the sea and began to pray to the Manta Diablo to save him. Manta Diablo started to move slowly after the Ramon threw the Pearl. Ramon prayed to the Manta Diablo that 'You got my father and friend because of the Pearl. I gave you the pearl so you have to save me.'. Then the Manta Diablo started to go away from the base of ship. Ramon thought that this is chance to go to the village that he was living on. He started to go to the village. He arrived at the village. There was a funeral for him in the village. Everyone asked him what was happen to him. Ramon said to the people about his adventure. And he went to the church and prayed to the Madonna that he was sorry for losing her pearl. Also, he decided that he would never get the pearl from the sea. So he began to work as a pearl dealer in La Paz. By doing that job, Ramon realized that it was a very easy job. Then he worked hard as a pearl dealer and he succeeded. But he always felt gloomy when he thought about the Manta Diablo. And one day when Ramon thought about that day, he became crazy and committed suicide. So, as a result, the Manta Diablo destroyed three humans' lives.
